  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. Raffle

    BC Gaming Event Licence #154141

    1 for $10.00; 200 tickets
    3 for $25.00; 330 tickets
    10 for $50.00; 850 tickets
    25 for $100.00; 2750 tickets

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: November 6, 2024 at 11:59:00 p.m. PST

    Draw
    Prize Raffle draw: November 7, 2024 at 10:00:00 a.m. PST

    If for some reason, the draw cannot take place on the draw date listed, a substitute draw date and time will be selected. All ticket purchasers will be able to see the amended draw date and time information posted on the same website the ticket was purchased.

    Draw will be held at Langley Community Health & Hospital Foundation, 110- 5068 221A Street, Langley, BC V3A 4H4

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All ticket holders are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://galatripraffle.rafflenexus.com/winners on November 7, 2024.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Langley Community Health & Hospital Foundation.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Langley Community Health & Hospital Foundation or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

  5. 5. Privacy

    Langley Community Health & Hospital Foundation does not sell, rent or exchange any personal information collected from our supporters with any other organization or entity.

  6. 6. Complaints

    Any complaints can be directed to the raffle administrators by emailing: kara.geransky@lchhfoundation.com. Administrators will review the complaint and take action if necessary.

  7. 7. Delay in Draw

    Should a delay occur in the draw time on draw day, every effort will be made to make the draw as soon as possible. Should an alternate day need to be announced, after approval by BC Gaming, all ticket purchasers will be notified via email.

  8. 8. Other

    Please email our team at kara.geransky@lchhfoundation.com should you require a refund for any ticket purchases or would like to issue a complaint, and we would be happy to assist you.

Cause

Langley Community Health & Hospital Foundation is actively fundraising for a state-of-the-art X-ray machine to replace one of the two X-ray machines in continual use in LMH’s Imaging unit.

The unit currently operates with two X-ray machines in continual use. However, the newest machine was acquired in 2009: at 15 years old, it’s well past its average 10-year lifespan. Frequent breakdowns of both aging X-ray machines force patients to wait for two hours or more and frustrate technologists and radiologists.

The need is urgent. Trauma admissions at LMH’s Emergency Department grew by 31.7 percent over the last year and ambulatory X-ray scans increased by 31.2 percent during that same time. X-ray imagery is instrumental in diagnosing injuries and abnormalities that could be early signals of cancer.

With your generous support, the purchase of a new X-ray machine will help improve image quality for more accurate diagnoses and less radiation exposure, prevent long waits and provide a more user-friendly experience for Imaging technologists.
